Dark, twisted and utterly satisfying!

'Once upon a time, a girl had a father, a prince, a society of friends. Then they betrayed her, and she destroyed them all.'

Loved the new characters, let the story take me to places I did not expect and thoroughly enjoyed this amazing world! The only thing that I've found challenging was being inside Adelina's head with all the very dark and twisted thoughts.

'Someday, when I am nothing but dust and wind, what tale will they tell about me?'

All in all I really enjoyed the second book of the series and can't wait for the third instalment! :)

Favourite Quotes:

'The irony of life is that those who wear masks often tell us more truths than those with open faces.'

'Fear motivates, more than love or ambition or joy. Fear is more powerful than anything else in the world.'
